| Lead / Asst Manager – Business Operations Reports to : General Manager – Small Business & Local Job Function : Business Operations Job Title : Lead / Asst Manager – Business Operations Job Type : Full Time Employee Location : Bangalore Introduction / Role Description: Based in Bangalore, Yahoo! India is looking for a candidate with strong execution background to fill the role of a Lead / Asst Manager – Business Operations. This position will be responsible for handling all operations related to growing Yahoo! Small Business (YSB) & Local Search business Responsibilities: 1) Reporting - Prepare daily & weekly reports for YSB & Local Paid Listing business 2) Lead management - Download all leads & distribute them to various channels / channel partners - Track conversions on an ongoing basis. - Provide insights to sales team which help in driving conversions & lowering cost of acquisition 3) Sales Support - Maintaining MIS and publishing periodic dashboards for Channel Partners - Managing various tools/systems for the sales team as a back up - Manage other special projects on a case to case basis - Create sales / marketing collaterals, maintain inventory and manage dispatches 4) Manage the YSB website - Work with Product and Engineering team/s to make required changes to the YSB website and its content from time to time 5) Online Marketing - Manage online campaigns for YSB and Local (Paid Listings) on the Yahoo India network as well as off-network e.g. CPA deals with ad networks - Manage all operations related Ad networks - With creative requirements, pixel placement/changes, signing IOs, releasing payments, weekly review of performance etc - Creative development & performance tracking – work with the online creative agency to continuously produce banner & direct e-mailer creative, upgrade the website design, track performance etc - Yahoo Network Campaign Management - Develop creative, YWA tagging, weekly traffic review with Marketing team, getting traffic data from Marketing and providing sales numbers / feedback - YSM campaign for Yahoo! Small Business 6) Yahoo Web Analytics - Implement YWA to get greater level of understanding of consumer behavior - Improve the performance of marketing campaigns and Y! Network inventory to maximize conversions 7) SEO - Work with the Yahoo SEO team to improve organic traffic for YSB. Make website /content changes based on the SEO team’s recommendations 8) Billing & Payables Management - Reconcile monthly sales for each Channel Partner - Ensuring timely submission of invoice by Channel Partners - Raising Purchase Requisitions for Channel Partners and other vendors, receipting and dispatching of physical invoices to Finance for releasing payments - Follow up on pending payments with Finance Skills/Qualifications: MBA from a recognized university / B School Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills. 2 to 4 years of experience in Business Operations / Sales & Marketing, preferably in an MNC / technology oriented organization Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative and problem-resolution skills. Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office – especially Excel & Power Point Flexible attitude toward work tasks, priority changes and resource constraints. Ability to handle multiple assignments with effective resolution of conflicting priorities in a fast paced and rapidly changing Internet environment. |
