Job description:
- Maintain Informatica systems as assigned by checking the server logs, pager/email for any alerts on the system
- Be available on problem calls when needed for Informatica
- Check Peregrine ticket queue and respond to and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Administer Informatica with routine maintenance and fixes whenever necessary
- Deploy application or system changes to any of these Informatica servers as requested by change request or by the team lead or manager
- Tune applications and system parameters and help fix application issues as needed
- Support batch job runs and fix problems with batch as needed
- Generate procedures/documentation whenever necessary
- Ability to support all different level of clients
- Must be able to work with DBAs in order to fix problems with Informatica as required
- Informatica administration skills on UNIX platform at L2 level - Mandatory
- Experience of working in a production environment
