You'll be a key member of the HP IT Services BSM (Monitoring) deployment team responsible for the deployment of HP's industry leading BAC, Sitescope and related products. The team has already deployed application monitoring to nearly 1500 HP assets in their next generation data centers
This is a highly visible team as a key member you will be responsible for scripting and configuring business process monitors for each application as it goes live in DCC working closely with the engagement and support teams to maintain the monitors once deployed.
You will also be expected to effectively interact with other teams to provide solutions to complex technical issues. Also work with the customer engagement teams to design and implement custom monitoring solutions as required.
Education and Experience Required:
Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 0-2 years of related experience. May include highly experienced individuals performing entry-level equivalent work who are non-degreed or degreed in an unrelated field.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
0-2 years experience in writing code (such as, and not limited to, Java, C, C++, C#, VB.Net; databases like Sql Server/ Oracle. Basic Understanding of RDBMS and Database scripting. Basic understanding of testing tools and test scripting.
