Skill & Job Requirements: Wipro Technologies is looking for candidate with 6 - 10 years of IT experience:
Excellent Hands on Knowledge in SharePoint and .NET technologies
Hand on experience in design and setting up large SharePoint farms and knowledge of best practices for farm setup. Skills on SharePoint administration is a must.
Helps others to resolve design problems, reviewing and approving recommended solutions and has extensive hands on experience in MOSS Error Tracing, Debugging Web Parts, Debugging Event Handlers, and Debugging Site Definitions.
Must be MCTS certified in MOSS or .NET
Leads planning and implementation of all actions required to deploy the application both technically and functionally for the MOSS engagements
Deep understanding of various deployment options and must be able to choose various solutions depending on the scenario of the MOSS engagement
Knowledge of Active Directory, Load balancing, clustering and provide recommendations on the configurations.
Knowledge in Commerce Server , BizTalk server would be advantageous
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong technical knowledge and management skills.

Skills: As a Portal Architect you will be require to: Architecting - Responsible for managing the design & architecture for small to medium projects/ contributing to large complex projects. Expected to continue to build upon domain knowledge and technical/ proprietary skills to reach levels of industry acknowledgement. Works as a guide and independently sets directions for medium sized projects of high complexity. Works on problems of highly complex scope, through expert usage of non-standard concepts & principles requiring high levels of judgment & interpretation. Determines a course of action, which is then executed by project teams. Can offer multiple solutions to problems through existing and new methodologies and then exercises judgment to determine most appropriate solution. Requires expert knowledge of multiple development technologies. Has sufficient expertise to write and present white papers and articles in recognized magazines and industry forums. Applies advanced knowledge and experience to the development of new methods, programs and procedures. The role would offer expertise cutting across units and would make tactical decisions which will have an impact on the business. Manages divergent interest and perspectives. Advises Sr Management on specialized technical issues. Conducts, supports and reports research in one's own area of expertise. Is responsible for capability development of the team/ unit.
