· Analyzing product and technology requirements, working closely with team leads
· Performing object oriented design and analysis on software components
· Developing functional specifications for new development
· Developing high-level and low-level designs
· Implementing functionality in Java, Swing, Hybernate, and SQL DBs
· Testing and debugging code
· Deploying and testing products in a highly available configuration
· Communicating with team leads and team personnel on project status and risks

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field
· 3+ years experience developing software in a commercial software development environment
· Solid experience with Java and related technologies – mandatory
· Good organizational and communications skills – mandatory
· Experience developing GUI applications in Swing – beneficial
· Experience developing web-based clients and systems – beneficial
· Experience with modern software development methodologies – beneficial
· Project planning skills – beneficial
· Experience in the healthcare domain – beneficial
