NTPC-SAIL Power Company, a premier power Joint Venture of NTPC & SAIL requires bright experienced professionals in Executive Cadre (E1) for appointment to regular
posts for its Units located at Bhilai(Chattisgarh), Rourkela(Orissa), Durgapur(West Bengal) and Corporate Office at New Delhi.
Post Qualification Executive Experience for all posts :
One Year post qualification executive experience in the pay scale of Rs. 6500 - 10500/-
(CDA) or Rs. 6550 - 11350 (IDA pay scales effective from 01.01.1997) or equivalent level.
Relevant Experience :
E1 - Assistant Engineer (Elec / Mech) - Experience of working in Operation &
Maintenance of Power Plant with hands on experience of overhaul of turbine, boilers,
generators / auxiliaries & switch
yard equipments, etc.
E1 - Assistant Engineer (Civil) - Experience in the area of Civil Construction of power
projects / infrastructure projects.
E1 - Assistant Engineer (Safety) - Experience in compliance with safety regulations
under the Factories Act, developing, auditing and improving safety systems. Promotion
of safety consciousness among employees and examination of machinery, equipment
and building from safety angle. Experience in organizing safety training and fire fighting etc.
E1 - Assistant Officer, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) - Experience of working
with NGO, dealing with social groups/stake holders, experience in counseling, conducting
review / analysis / monitoring of socio economic surveys, formulation, implementation &
monitoring of community development / social welfare programmes etc.

All qualifications should be from recognised University/Institution.

Pay scale - E1: Rs. 10750 - 16750 (IDA pattern and due for revision w.e.f.
01.01.2007)

NSPCL presently follows broad policies of NTPC relating to pay scales and
benefits.

Age Limit : 32 years as on 30.09.2009 (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PWD and
3 years for OBC)

Post/Level Qualification

Safety from Regional Labour Institute/Institution recognized under the Factories Act or Degree
in Engineering in Industrial Safety with atleast 60% marks.
Assistant Officer (CSR) / E1 Graduate with 02 years full time Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Sociology / MSW (Master
of Social Welfare/ Works) from a recognized University / Institute, with atleast 60% marks.
