Job Title: Technical Consultant

    Job description:

    The Technical Consultant works under the direction of a Consulting Manger or Senior Consultant and may work directly with our clients at a technical level.

    Key Responsibilities Include the development of GUI interfaces, cross-platform web development and programming activities.

    Job Experience:
    * Experience of at least one of the following: C/C++, Java, .Net (C#)
    * Experience of at least one of the following scripting languages: Perl, ASP, PHP, COM Objects, CGI, Python
    * Experience of at least one client-side programming language and understanding of Web technologies such as HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript (including AJAX), XML
    * Good understanding of the DOM and DOM scripting using JavaScript
    * Experience with at least one or more of the following OS platforms: Solaris, Linux and Windows
    * Working knowledge of Web Servers such as IIS, Apache
    * Preferred familiarity with a relational database or hands on experience with SQL (MySql, PostgreSQL,)
    * Self-motivated and capable of delivering a proactive, credible, and responsive service to clients
    * Strong interpersonal skills coupled with exceptional organizational skills
    * Demonstrable experience of delivering to deadlines
    * A team player, passionate about technology and able to solve complex problems
    * Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
    Desirable Skills:
    * Working knowledge of one JavaScript framework e.g. ExtJS, jQuery, Scriptaculous, Mootools, Yahoo YUI etc.
    * Experience and proficiency in debugging web applications.
    * Database technology such as MS SQL & Oracle is also highly desirable.
