Person who is having ability to take on end-to-end responsibility of his/her own deliverables starting from requirement gathering upto deployment

Ability to conduct peer review of code and deliverables

Sound track record vis--vis Overall performance and behavioural competence

Desired Skills and Experience

Required Technical Competence

It is a must, that the consultants have enough experience in Java 1.6, Spring, Hibernate and Struts 2.0 (or any other MVC) to be able to work independently

Should know at least one of the MVC framework extensively used in market example Struts/Spring MVC

Must have knowledge of JSP, Servlets, Java Script and JQuery (EJB knowledge is optional)

Hands-on experience on IBM RAD WAS 7.0 is mandatory

Knowledge of JBPM 4.x is desirable and candidates with JBPM knowledge will be given priority over other profiles

Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience of Web Services and working knowledge of JMSQ or IBM MQ is essential

Should be able to code own optimized SQL queries, functions, triggers and procedures (Oracle or SQL Server DB environment)

Ability to build and deploy application on application Servers/Web Servers with appreciation for continuous integration

Knowledge of Subversion or VSS and Maven. Any other Source control and build tool experience is also considerable

Experience with Unit testing using JUnit, Spring and Mocking frameworks to provide maximum code coverage is a huge advantage

Working knowledge of Code review and Code coverage tools is a clear advantage on others

Ability to refactor and to write performance tuned code

Should have an understanding of writing functions at such an atomic level which can be tested separately

Conceptual or working knowledge of Scrum SDLC is mandatory
