Software Support Specialist
Job Description
As a Software Support Specialist at Synygy, you will work at our Pune office and will be involved in providing application software support to Synygy’s internal and external clients for Synygy software solutions.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing reasonable workarounds for urgent technical problems so that project teams can continue being productive
- Coordinating with members of the Software Development Team to determine if software issues are a result of software defects
- Monitoring, following up on, and reporting on all unresolved issues for their assigned project teams
- Proactively looking out for new features, fixes or technical processes that could benefit their assigned projects
- Proactively looking out for known issues, which could potentially cause problems for their assigned projects
Prerequisites
The following skills and abilities are required for this position:
- 1-3 years of previous experience in application software support, software support, and/or software testing capacities on Windows platform
- ability to work in a 24x7 environment working in day/night shifts on rotational basis, including weekends
- ability to write, troubleshoot, and modify SQL Server stored procedures
- very strong analytical and problem solving skills along with detail orientation
- strong oral and written communication skills
